Anime Matsuri brings you Anime Academy at the 2026 convention in Houston, TX. Over the 4 day weekend, young students have the opportunity to engage in workshops and panels on Manga Illustration and Video Game Programming, hosted and taught by industry professionals from Japan. We are thrilled to announce that acclaimed manga artist Hikaru Nakamura, the creator of the hit series Saint Young Men, will be joining us as a special instructor for the Manga Illustration workshops. Every workshop is 90 mins long and open to students 8 years and above.
