Miki Taka

The Japanese-American beauty people came to know as, Miki Taka, is originally from Nagoya, Japan.  Humbly raised in East and Midwestern U.S., she now resides in the dynamic city of San Francisco.  Miki’s first experience in front of a camera was at the age of 12 when she was approached by Nickelodean to guest-host and interview the triple platinum R&B star, Brandy.  Since then, she has appeared in productions on Versus TV, Speed TV, G4 and Myx TV.  This international beauty has also graced magazines such as Import Tuner and Super Street.

Since Miki met the notable Prestigious Models Agency, in the summer of 2008, her credentials as a model and DJ have flourished.  Miki was crowned Miss Formula Drift in 2009, reaching the pinnacle of her modeling career.  In 2010, she turned up the heat as the official host and DJ for Formula Drift’s Team Need for Speed (NFS).  In addition, she toured with NFS for the release of Hot Pursuit, another game from the popular brand.  For the 2011 Formula Drift season, she continued to move forward as an official DJ and member of Team NFS.

Growing up, music played a major role in Miki’s life.  A little known fact is that she played the viola and French horn, though she attributes her love for music to her family.  Influenced by her mother’s album collection, her love affair with music began at a ripe age. While studying at the University of Cincinnati, Miki shifted her attention from the books to the DJ decks.  It’s no surprise that when she is not steaming up the cameras, DJ Miki Taka illuminates the stage at the hottest clubs from Vegas to New York to L.A.  Miki has also made her mark internationally in Europe and Asia.  “The sky’s the limit” is an understatement for this female phenom.

“At the end of the day, I think that every experience in life is a collection of memories and lessons learned.  Every moment has a song that should be shared.  If I could give you my life, it would be in the form of a soundtrack.” – Miki Taka
